Cyber Shield

The Cyber Shield is a High-tier energy-powered shield that replaces traditional durability with an internal energy buffer. It features two distinct blocking modes and a perfect parry mechanic that rewards precise timing with devastating counterattacks.

How to Use

Block: Right-click to raise the shield and block incoming damage.
Switch Mode: Sneak + Right-click to cycle between Standard and Perma-Parry modes.
Perfect Parry: Block just before an attack lands to trigger a counterattack (see below).

Modes

Perfect Parry

A perfect parry triggers when damage is successfully blocked within a short window after raising the shield (Standard mode) or on every block (Perma-Parry mode).

Attack Type	Parry Effect
Melee	Deals thorns damage and knocks back the attacker
Projectiles	Deflects the projectile back toward its source (arrows, fireballs, etc.)

You will know when you successfully perform a perfect parry because a specific sound will play and some particles will spawn.

Energy & Protection

The shield operates on a binary protection model:

Charged (energy > 0): 90% damage reduction within the blocking angle
Discharged (energy = 0): 10% damage reduction (emergency protection)
